Mr. Ernst has been practicing as a civil litigator since graduating from New York University (NYU) Law ten years ago. Before then, Dan was a Professor of Philosophy and International Law in Seoul, Korea at Ewha Womans University. His legal practice is now focused on defamation law and education law.
Mr. Ernst has extensive experience both defending against claims of defamation and in litigating on behalf of those who have been defamed. He has won tenure for professors after their university wrongly denied it. He has defended students in multiple and various disciplinary hearings and obtained favorable results on a wide variety of issues for families with K-12 students.
Mr. Ernst earned his doctorate from Yale University in political philosophy, his law degree from NYU, and a Bachelor of Arts in physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
