When the idea for ZEM Life and its smartwatch with medicine-injecting abilities was originally developed, the idea was to help with our current opioid crisis. Co-Founder Steve Muth’s son, Zachary Ernest Muth (hence, the name ZEM), passed away from a fentanyl overdose, and Steve desperately wanted to help ensure other parents didn’t have to go through what he had endured.
However, in working side-by-side with Co-Founder Joanna Meston, who is a board certified anesthesiologist, it became obvious that the potential for ZEM Life was so much bigger than what was originally envisioned. Now, ZEM Life is set to release ten models with varying functionality to help anyone from an opioid overdose to diabetics to those suffering with epilepsy or even fertility issues. Additionally, ZEM Life Animals is exclusive for animals, including domestic pets, while ZEM Life Infant is designed specifically for the youngest humans.
Ultimately, ZEM Life will provide a wide-range of solutions to stop preventable death.
